Summary of the Townsville Hospital and Health Board Meeting #165 held 1 September 2025 and Board activities in the reporting period.

The Townsville Hospital and Health Board (THHB) held the 1 September 2025 meeting in Charters Towers. The meeting was chaired by THHB Chair, Mr Tony Mooney AM and attended by eight members of the Board (including the THHB Chair).
The regional meeting included site visits to the Charters Towers Hospital and the Eventide Aged Care Facility. The THHB hosted a stakeholder luncheon with staff, allied health service providers, primary care providers, representatives from other government services, and local and state government representatives.
The Board received updates from the Board Committees which met in the reporting period, including:
- Matters from Board Safety and Quality Committee
- Matters from Board Finance Committee
- Matters from Board Stakeholder Engagement Committee
The Board received a number of reports including the following:
- Executive Report from the Health Service Chief Executive, Kieran Keyes
- Service Agreement Performance Report
