The Townsville Hospital and Health Board met on 05 December 2022 at Townsville University Hospital. The meeting was chaired by Mrs Michelle Morton and attended by seven members of the board.
The Board received updates from the board committees which met in reporting period, including:
- Board Finance Committee
- Board Audit and Risk Committee
- Board Executive Committee
- Board Stakeholder Engagement Committee
The Board received an executive report and performance report from the Health Service Chief Executive, Kieran Keyes.
The Board received updates on key focus areas, which included:
- Service Agreement Performance Report
- Human resources inclusive of leadership development programs
- Media and communications bi-annual report
- Cyber security deep dive
- North Queensland Kidney Transplant Service

The Townsville Hospital and Health Board met on 07 November 2022 at Townsville University Hospital. The meeting was chaired by Mr Tony Mooney AM and attended by nine members of the board.
The Board received updates from the Board committees which met in reporting period, including:

- Board Safety and Quality Committee
- Board Executive Committee
The Board received an executive report and performance report from the Health Service Chief Executive, Kieran Keyes.
The Board received updates on key focus areas, which included:
- Service Agreement Performance Report
- Human Resources inclusive of leadership development programs

- Community Based Allied Health Rehabilitation Services
- North Queensland Kidney Transplant Services

Summary of the Townsville Hospital and Health Board Meeting held 04 October 2022 and Board activities in the reporting period

The Townsville Hospital and Health Board met on 04 October 2022 at Palm Island Primary Healthcare Centre Board Room; Great Palm Island. The meeting was chaired by Mr Tony Mooney AM and attended by eight members of the Board.
The Board received updates from the Board committees which met in reporting period, including:
- Board Finance Committee
- Board Audit and Risk Committee
- Board Executive Committee
- Board Stakeholder and Engagement Committee
The Board received an executive report from the Health Service Chief Executive, Kieran Keyes.
The Board received updates on key focus areas, which included:
- Queensland Health Vaccination Program
- Voluntary Assisted Dying readiness
- Residential aged care facility accreditation
Following the regional meeting, the board hosted key community representatives for lunch at the Palm Island Primary Health Care Centre. The Board conducted a site visit of the Joyce Palmer Health Service to meet staff, patients and inspect the onsite accommodation units.

The Townsville Hospital and Health Board (THHB) met on 06 June 2022 at Townsville University Hospital. The meeting was chaired by Mr Tony Mooney AM and attended by seven members of the Board.
The Board received updates from the Board Committees which met in reporting period, including:

- Board Audit and Risk
- Board Executive Committee
- Board Executive Stakeholder Engagement Committee
The Board received a regular Executive Report and Performance Report from the Health Service Chief Executive.
The Board received updates on key focus areas, which included:
- COVID-19 operational requirements inclusive of and update on the THHS coordinated vaccination program in the broader THHS service area.
- Human Resources inclusive of leadership development programs
- Tactical Priorities Workshop Outcomes
- Feedback on the Queensland Health Clinical Excellence Showcase content to establish opportunities for local adoption.
Dr Lynne Coulson Barr OAM, recently appointed Health Ombudsman attended the meeting virtually to provide the Board and the THHS executive an overview of her intended strategic direction for the Office of the Health Ombudsman.

The Townsville Hospital and Health Board (THHB) met on 04 April 2022 at Townsville University Hospital. The meeting was chaired by Mr Tony Mooney AM and attended by nine members of the Board.
The Board welcomed Mr Luke Guazzo to his augural meeting following his Ministerial appointment effective 1 April 2022.
The Board received updates from the Board Committees which met in reporting period, including:

- Board Audit and Risk Committee
The Board received a regular Executive Report and Performance Report from the Health Service Chief Executive.
